Living blue

The theme of the Histor house during the Elle inside design was light, air and space. Everything was painted in different colors of blue and turquoise. I love blue a lot, in fashion as well, it so easy to combine. Blue is my black.

Vote for our design

Recently my boyfriend and I joined a design contest here in Amsterdam. The assignment was to design an apartment with the intention of actually buying or renting it later. So we designed our dream apartment with a studio that we can afford at this point in our life. If you like you can help us by voting here and click on the most right star. Thank you very much and I'll keep you posted.

Here you can see the design & story below (in dutch)

Home of a VT Wonen stylist

VT Wonen stylist Marianne Luning is not afraid to use black and white in her apartment, it seems more like her mantra. When I saw these pictures a few years ago it inspired me to add more black to my mostly white and grey interior. It makes it less predictable and safe. I love her salon table a lot and someday I will make one myself, but probably with bigger wheels for a industrial look and right proportion.

Inspiring dutch home: Fresh start

 (Source VT Wonen)
What I like about this interior is that it is so light, the ceiling is high and they invited nature inside, that's why it looks so fresh and cheerful.
