Milano, 10 Corso Como

Last weekend we were in Milan, the weather was not good and on sunday it was raining all day... But we went to 10 Corso Como and had a long lovely lunch in the cafe. It is a place all my design minded friends recommended me and it's an inspiring place. Everything is thought trough very well and designed by an artful mind! It's also nice to see the kind of people who visit the place.... (These pictures were taken on a sunny spring day, to give you a better impression)

       

My DIY paint project

Recently I posted a mood board with my inspiration to paint a white cupboard dark grey. And here is the result! It looks totally different and I put other accessories on top of it, i'm very happy with it, what do you think?

Favorite on Etsy

Today I ordered these two reproduction art prints of Michele Maule. I really really love her work and I can't wait till it will arrived. I actually like to hang them together because they work so well together. Check out her Etsy shop for more work.

Just paint!

I like this beige color pallet, it looks warm, but also light and fresh.  Because they painted the wall not completely beige but in squares, the room doesn't get classic. In fact I think it's a great idea in general to paint the wall like a frame, because everything you put in front of it will come out very and it forms a unity.

Beautiful wallpaper

During my search for inspiration for a design of a few offices I discovered this Italian brand Wall&Deco that I didn't knew yet. I think they have a beautiful and diverse collection. It's urban, industrial or chique, so you can use it in very different styles. I think you can reach a great space when you decorate with it because of the impact of the wallpaper.

A beautiful shop that makes you smile

I came by the shop Sukha several times, but always when I didn't have time, and that was hard because it looked so inviting to me. A few days agoI went in and they have so many things that made me smile! It's a mix of vintage and new, books, furniture, accessories and clothes (lovely brands like Antik Batik and Humanoid). All chosen with great eye for detail and beauty! The space itself is really basic and light so everything comes out very well! 
Nice to know is that the name of the  shop means "Joy of life" in Sanskrit.

Inspiring holiday home near Copenhagen

I remember how beautiful the landscape was when I went to the Louisiana museum near Copenhagen by train. I was fascinated by the seaside without dunes and how calm the water was, but it looked so peaceful. When I red this article it remind me of that day and how special Scandinavia is to me. How great would it be to spend your weekends in a place like this....

What you can do with yellow

I really like the colour yellow lately and I want to add a bit to my interior. Especially combined with grey it forms a great match. I found a piece about this colour on the website of kleurinspiratie and in their opinion it is the colour of 2011. Yellow stands for a fresh look on the future, optimism an gives a positive feeling. That sounds good to me! Here's my yellow inspiration.
