Playful dutch interior

I like this playful interior of eatbar "DIT" , as they call it in dutch, in 's Hertogenbosch in The Netherlands. Don't you like the furniture? The furniture is designed by Roderick Vos and, one of the most inventive dutch designers in my opinion. Love the wall lightning and Bonsai Candleholders  of dutch brand Functionals!

Original shelf

I think this is a very original design. What I like most is how it seems to grow out of the the wall. The shelf is designed by Olivier Dolle, he seems to be inspired by natures as you can see in his other designs.

Spring update

When I recently painted my cupboard dark gray it didn't fit anymore with the sofa's pillows. So I needed this simple and fresh spring update. I bought these yellow and Ikat print pillow cases at HEMA and so I was finished for less then €13,- Great way to start this sunny spring!

Milano, 10 Corso Como

Last weekend we were in Milan, the weather was not good and on sunday it was raining all day... But we went to 10 Corso Como and had a long lovely lunch in the cafe. It is a place all my design minded friends recommended me and it's an inspiring place. Everything is thought trough very well and designed by an artful mind! It's also nice to see the kind of people who visit the place.... (These pictures were taken on a sunny spring day, to give you a better impression)

Favorite on Etsy

Today I ordered these two reproduction art prints of Michele Maule. I really really love her work and I can't wait till it will arrived. I actually like to hang them together because they work so well together. Check out her Etsy shop for more work.

Just paint!

I like this beige color pallet, it looks warm, but also light and fresh.  Because they painted the wall not completely beige but in squares, the room doesn't get classic. In fact I think it's a great idea in general to paint the wall like a frame, because everything you put in front of it will come out very and it forms a unity.

Beautiful wallpaper

During my search for inspiration for a design of a few offices I discovered this Italian brand Wall&Deco that I didn't knew yet. I think they have a beautiful and diverse collection. It's urban, industrial or chique, so you can use it in very different styles. I think you can reach a great space when you decorate with it because of the impact of the wallpaper.

Spice it up!

I wrote about this interior earlier, check it out here. This Amsterdam interior is used for photo shoots often and also for Color magazine of Histor, a dutch paint brand. It's a great example of what you can do with color and how it affects a space.
