Yesterday I saw the work of Coulson Macleod for the first time and I'm loving it! Great handmade typographic work printed on natural and reclaimed materials like wood, wood or canvas. I hope I win one of their pieces, check out their website & blog

Moodboard for my DIY project for this weekend
Maybe it is because it's almost spring but I really want to change something in my interior. As you may know I love the colour grey because it forms a perfect base and all the things you put in front or on top of it come out so beautiful. That's why I'm going to paint this cupboard in dark grey, it has been white long enough. Here is my inspiration mood board and below the cupboard as it is now....

I'm thinking of moving to Stockholm...
I'm thinking of moving to Stockholm after seeing these pictures at Lotta Agaton's blog and Emma's design blog as well. Again you can see what a white base and a lot of white can do, it's absolutely not boring to me. I love the color pallet, white, grey a bit of colour and ART! It looks so fresh....

Great DIY inspiration!!!
The work of Sarah & Bendrix work inspires me to make something myself...
Sometimes I really miss doing creative things, just for myself. But but I enjoyed working on my latest DIY project so much that I'm planning to create much more beautiful things for my home, you can see this post here

A little inspiration for the weekend: Lovely Melbourne Home
I found this house on the lovely website The design files. This is the home of the australian florist Katie Marx. Love the huge blossom branches and the painting of the videotapes. This piece of art is made by Dane Lovett. It's a funny and light interior, you shouldn't take life to serious anyway :-)
Have a great weekend!

A little colour in your life...
I really like this pink room, it think it will have a positive influence on your mood. I don't think I will ever try this at home, but maybe in a project....
These spaces are done by Stylist Lo Bjurulf, nice work & very inspirational.

DIY inspiration: I made felt blossom!
When the example of the DIY felt flowers on the website De Geranium I fell in love and ordered the package immediately. I'm actually not a needlework type but it was worth trying... Most of the flowers weren't that difficult and I actually enjoyed making them. A few days ago I went into the woods with a few colleagues during our lunch break to find a branch and I attached the flowers on it and here is the result!
I'm really happy with it, it looks like spring!!!

Industrial style interior design
I found these nice pictures on the website of the Australian magazine Inside out, great combinations of vintage and new things to get the right look! Industrial but not cold...
It seems like a great magazine to me, but unfortunately I haven't seen it anywhere in Amsterdam or at the airport. Luckily they have such a great website and blog to see the highlights....

Inspirational use of colour and material
I really like the contrast between the dark blue wall with the light grey sofa. It really works with the green accessories, wood and light floor.

Surprising spaces
I'm not really into children's rooms (maybe because I don't have one :-). But that's what I like about these spaces, they don't look like the stereotype children's room and it looks really friendly and inviting, but not so childish....
I love the use of colour combined with the wood and what a lovely vintage chair!
Funny detail, I bought the exact same rabbit lamp for one of our meeting rooms at the office, it's almost finished and I will post pictures when it's done...
