A little inspiration for the weekend

I love the cover of the latest issue of Elle wonen. The picture was taken by Gaelle le Boulicaut. I found more inspiring work in his portfolio on his website, a few examles below

Piet Boon

I used to work for Baden Baden, the former shop of Piet Boon when I just moved to Amsterdam. I learned a lot from my colleagues and from then I new I wanted to become a interior designer. An example of a project I worked on were the bathrooms of a Villa at the seaside in the Netherlands (last 2 pictures) Here are a few of my favorite designs of his design studio.

Room 606: the vintage room

Room 606 of the The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Copenhagen, features the original Arne Jacobsen décor from the 1960s. At first I thought it was an ode to Jacobsen, but then I found out he designed it himself. He used a beautiful color combination of grey, blue-green colors and wengé wood.  I think it's great they kept the room in the state Jacobsen designed it over 50 years ago. It's a timeless design, just like his furniture.

Office and cafe for nomadic workers in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

A great example of the new way to work. Work when you want and where you want!
I found an article about Urban station, designed by Total Tool, at www.dezeen.com, one of my favourite website to stay up to date about recent projects.

Inspiring danish interior

I like the leather handles of the doors and drawers, it's different!

The Italian brand Zanotta has some pretty nice styling on their website. One of the picture is taken on abbey road, funny!
